Welcome to Sweet As Co.

The cupcake-filled journey to Sweet As Co began in March 2018 with three simple ingredients: a vivacious mother, a love of sweet treats, and a desire to try something new. Amidst the joys and challenges of taking care of my two little boys I began searching for new things to do, ways to express myself, and a means to indulge my sweet tooth. Obviously, baking was the perfect choice! Using online tutorials, I learned the ins-and-outs of baking, the tips-and-tricks of piping and created confections that looked even better than they tasted (and they were pretty delicious). I posted pics of what I made to my socials including my delightfully colourful Unicorn cupcakes. People loved what I posted. They started ordering, and before I knew it Sweet As Co started growing into a serious side hustle. And here we are… All it took was a willingness to give it a go, a bit of practice, a touch of frosting and Voila!

Every moment can be a celebration, no matter how small. We want to transform cooking and baking into occasions for celebrating yourself and putting yourself first, even as you cook for those you love most.

Dedicated to making your cake dreams come to life. Located on Brisbane’s northside in Kedron, Leesa’s cakes are made with quality fresh local ingredients and traditional baking methods. She has perfected her recipes making the best light and fluffy cupcakes in town - you MUST try for yourself!
