Based in Brisbane North, Sweet As Co. was founded by Leesa, a busy mum of two boys and a passionate baker. Specialising in cupcakes and buttercream, we make baking fun, stylish, and effortless with bold, sassy bakeware and expert photography tools. Whether you're whipping up cupcakes or capturing that Insta-worthy shot, Sweet As Co. brings creativity and convenience to your kitchen.

    I’m an experienced baker and home cook, having created countless confections over the years. You can trust my designs because I know what I’m doing and know what works. Check the receipts, I’ve got the pics and posts to prove it.

    Our Story.


    The cupcake-filled journey to Sweet As Co began with three simple ingredients: a vivacious mother, a love of sweet treats, and a desire to try something new. Amidst the joys and challenges of taking care of my little ones I began searching for new things to do, ways to express myself, and a means to indulge my sweet tooth. Obviously, baking was the perfect choice! Using online tutorials and guides I mixed, battered, frosted, folded, and sifted my way through batch after batch. I learned the ins-and-outs of baking, the tips-and-tricks of piping, and created confections that looked even better than they tasted (and they were pretty delicious).

    Wanting to show off and brag a little, I posted pics of what I made to my socials including my delightfully colourful Unicorn cupcakes. People loved what I posted, what I made. They started ordering, and Sweet As Co started growing. From my home kitchen I taught myself to bake, spinning sugar into desserts and whisking butter into wonders to satisfy every sweet tooth. All it took was a willingness to give it a go, a bit of practice, a touch of frosting and Voila!
